We painted each wrinkle directly onto photorealistic digital faces, with full control over shadow, depth, and placement. Static skin only tells half the story. A wrinkle that looks correct but moves wrong undermines everything, so we animated smile lines using real facial capture data, mapping genuine human movement onto the digital face.
