Pampers Professional partnered with the Academy of Neonatal Nurses (ANN) to build an interactive training module on caring for premature baby skin. That’s where we came in. Nurses have very little spare time for professional development, and getting a highly technical, sensitive subject to hold their attention was the real test, the immersive training had to be quick to complete and hard to switch off from.

A textbook page can describe skin structure. It can't put a nurse inside it. Letting learners move through the layers themselves, at their own pace, turns a fact they're told into a structure they've actually seen, and that's what stays with someone on shift months later.
We built four lessons that took learners from the skin's surface down into its structure, tracing how it develops across the trimesters. One lesson centred on an interactive model nurses could explore freely, uncovering each layer and what it does.
